quartisanes was established to provide vehicle hire that respects both the vehicle and the person using it. Based in Singapore, we work with a small number of clients and maintain a small, well-kept fleet.

How quartisanes began
quartisanes started in 2019 when its founder — a former logistics manager with two decades of experience coordinating corporate transport across Southeast Asia — noticed something that bothered him. Vehicle hire in Singapore was either transactional and impersonal, or it involved hiring full-time drivers for arrangements that didn't call for them. There was little in between.
The idea behind quartisanes was straightforward: offer vehicle hire that is attentive without being intrusive, and simple without being careless. A small number of well-maintained vehicles, a team that understands the importance of timing, and a process that doesn't waste the client's time.
We started with two vehicles and three regular clients. Today we manage a modest fleet of sedans, compact SUVs, and coupés, and we work with a mix of Singapore residents, corporate clients, and visiting professionals. Our approach has not changed: take fewer clients, serve them better, and maintain every vehicle as though it belongs to someone who cares about it — because it does.
Our office is located in the Matrix Building at Biopolis, Singapore's research and innovation district. It's a deliberately understated address for a company that prefers to let the quality of its service speak.
What we stand by
Restraint over excess
We maintain a small fleet deliberately. A smaller fleet is easier to keep in excellent condition, and it prevents us from overpromising availability we cannot deliver. When we confirm a booking, it stays confirmed.
Honesty about pricing
Every arrangement has a clear price that is agreed before it begins. We do not add charges for fuel return, cleaning, or administration unless there is a genuine reason — and if there is, we explain it beforehand.
Presence without intrusion
For occasion-based services, our team is there to facilitate — not to be noticed. Drivers conduct themselves quietly and professionally. The occasion belongs to the people attending it, not to us.
Long-term thinking
We would rather keep a client for several years than impress them once and disappoint them twice. Most of our clients have been with us for more than two years. We consider that a measure of whether we're doing things right.

Founder & Director
Rajesh spent 22 years managing corporate transport logistics across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia before founding quartisanes. He personally oversees vehicle selection and client relationships.
Sarah Lim
Operations Manager
Sarah coordinates all bookings, delivery schedules, and vehicle maintenance. Her background in hospitality management shapes the attention to detail that defines how we communicate with clients.
Marcus Tan
Lead Driver & Fleet Coordinator
Marcus manages vehicle preparation and leads our driver team for occasion-based services. He has driven professionally in Singapore for over 14 years and holds an advanced driving qualification.
Standards we maintain
Vehicle inspections before every hire
Every vehicle undergoes a documented check before departure: fluid levels, tyre condition, interior cleanliness, and operational systems. Records are kept for each inspection.
Comprehensive insurance on all vehicles
All vehicles in our fleet are covered under comprehensive commercial hire insurance compliant with Singapore Land Transport Authority requirements. Policy documents are available on request.
Vetted and trained drivers
Our drivers hold valid Singapore licences and undergo background verification before joining our team. All drivers working occasion-based arrangements receive a situational briefing beforehand.
Client data handled with discretion
Client information is used only for the purpose of confirming and delivering your hire. We do not share it with third parties for marketing or advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Responsive support throughout each hire
A team member is reachable throughout all active hires. For occasion-based services, a point of contact is available from two hours before the scheduled start through to the final return transfer.

Each vehicle is sourced with an eye for condition, not just specification, and maintained according to manufacturer service intervals.
For Singapore residents using our weekly rotation arrangement, the experience is designed to require minimal effort from the client side. A vehicle arrives at your door, keys are exchanged, and at the end of the week the same process happens in reverse. There is no paperwork to manage between cycles, and preferences you've noted are carried forward.
For milestone occasions — retirement dinners, awards evenings, company celebrations — coordination is what sets a good transport arrangement apart from a merely functional one. Our team plans routes, timing, and communication between vehicles so that the transport side of the occasion runs without needing attention from the hosts or guests of honour.
